I changed the Default setting for Plone, to French.

Plone Setup->

Default Language

But still get all the Plone menu in English ...

Anything else to configure ?

Thx

Zag

Hi Zag, check the objectis faq "How do i localize my Plone in my own language", you will find an answer.

It looks like this content has moved. Can anyone tell me the new location for the FAQ?

Lovely, there's the FAQ. But where's the article referred to above?

 Re:Re:Re:Re:Language Setting (Dale E. Moore - 19/12/2004 19:12)

I mean, I only ask because the calendar is something other-than English which is the default language.

I don't know what you mean by calendar, but the above link is broken. This question has vanished in the new FAQ, so we'll put it back next week. Please wait it's online.

For Jérôme : the French version is out too.

http://CounselingWorks.ObjectIS.Org/ and http://Trickster.ObjectIS.Net/ both have calendars in the right-slot that do not display in English. They display "Dcembre" for the month and "Di Lu Ma Me Je Ve Sa" for the days of the week. I've looked for some way to change these to display in English but have been unable to effect this change. I was hoping that the missing article could help me through this problem.

Please forgive me being so vague in my prior posts!

Yes i removed it because i have to rewrite it.

For the calendar problem, i fixed it, it was a problem with zope LOCALE definition inside zope.conf file.
